An Introduction to Questral Helicopters

Questral Helicopters is a Canadian commercial helicopter service operating since 1987. We operate a fleet of Eurocopter AS350 helicopters under Aircraft Operations Certificate number 6609.

Our corporate office is located in the Avitat building at the Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and company operations are conducted from this facility. Company maintenance is conducted from our maintenance facility located in the hangar facilities here.

Our range of operations covers the geographical area of Canada, the United States and extends outside Canadian borders. Questral Helicopters has a Points Abroad designation with Transport Canada, allowing us to conduct international operations. Our international experience includes survey work in the United States, Greenland, Morocco and Peru.

Questral Helicopters is the only commercial helicopter service in Canada that specializes in airborne geophysical surveys. Our company operates machines that are especially equipped to accommodate survey equipment. Our aircrews consist of experienced bird-towing pilots and engineers.

We are also licensed to do aerial advertising, construction, inspection, surveillance, mapping and external load. We are also licensed to carry passengers under the Transport Canada Air Taxi designation.
